The Sisters Fellowship of the New Apostolic Church of Zambia central congregation has donated food stuffs to University Teaching Hospital (UTH) children’s ward.
Sisters Fellowship chairlady Madiam Kadango said the gesture was meant to ease the burdens of mothers nursing their children at the country’s highest health facility.
She said nursing a beloved one is not an easy task and thus people must show love and concern for sick people and those nursing them in order to lighten the burden.
Mrs Kadango said it is important to love one another as Christ loved the church.
And Charity Mulenga, whose daughter has been admitted in ward AO3, thanked the apostolic church for the gesture.
Ms Mulenga said the donated items will go a long way in assisting her as well as other mothers in need at the health facility.
The donated goods include food stuffs and cleaning agents.
