Kawambwa, July 11, 2019 ZANIS ---- Kawambwa residents in Luapula province have appealed to Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation – ZNBC,  to improve its radio reception in the area.

ZANIS in Kawambwa reports the appeal comes in the wake of poor radio reception being experienced in the district for almost a month now.

The situation has resulted in the listening public who rely on ZNBC Radio One and Two to be cut off from getting accurate and credible news and current affairs.

However, ZNBC Corporate Affairs Manager, Yvette Chanda, when contacted by phone, explains the Corporation was not aware of the poor radio reception being experienced in Kawambwa.

Ms Chanda has however, assured Kawambwa residents that ZNBC will send its staff from the technical department to check on the intermittent radio reception.
